Are you a DJ/producer working on your own stuff? How would you like to have your demo listened to and critiqued by award-winning and chart-topping producers? That’s what our Demo Listening sessions are all about.


Here’s what to do:

  1.  Sign-up below so we know you’re interested. *
  2.  Bring your CD or USB demo to BPM|PRO 2017.
  3.  Head to one of our Demo Listening sessions on Sunday (4pm) or Monday (11am) in LEARN | Two.
  4.  Hand over your demo to our curator. **
  5.  Receive a balanced critique from our industry panel (the Applique Music A&R team).

(*Registration will close on Sunday 8 October. **Demos will be listened to on a first-come first-served basis and we cannot guarantee that all demos will be heard.)

Lempo started his career with a residency at Manchester’s historic Sankeys nightclub and founded the Manchester-based Applique Music label in 2011. He has 13 number-ones across the download stores, most recently remixing Snoop Dogg and General Levy, as well as working with the ‘voice of house music’, Roland Clarke. 

Ruff Diamond

Ruff Diamond is a songwriter/producer who has now sold multi-millions of records. Working with labels as prestigious as Capital, EMI, Sony/Colombia, Virgin and Universal, his credits include an award-winning series for Adidas TV commercials and a variety of hits with artists ranging from Beyonce and Estelle to Mark Morrison and Teedra Moses. 

Will Darling

Part of the Applique Music A&R team, Will Darling is a music producer, graphic designer and entrepreneur living on the Isle of Wight. As well being part of the Demo Listening panel, he’ll team up with Lempo to show visitors ‘How to Master a Track’ as part of BPM|PRO’s LEARN Sessions.
